At Kittery Community Market, we prioritize providing a fantastic market experience for our guests while keeping vendor costs to a minimum. To achieve this goal, we rely heavily on the willingness of community members to volunteer. We offer a range of volunteer opportunities that suit varying physical abilities. If you’re interested in volunteering for the 2024 market season, here are some of the positions we need help with:
- Market Greeter β Make guests feel welcome and inform them about raffles, special events, vendors etc.β¦
- Information Booth Attendants β Host the information booth to answer questions about the market and help facilitate our various programs.

Set Up and Break Down Helpers β Show up an hour before to help set up tents and tables or at the end of the market to help take down and clean up.Β
- Culinary/Nutritional Advisor β Engage with guests and answer cooking questions. Give tips and suggestions to help make shopping for produce feel more accessible.Β
